What is Emotional Mind Integration?

Emotional Mind Integration (EMI) is a gentle, yet powerful brief therapy designed to resolve emotional pain and trauma held in the subconscious mind. Developed by Australian psychotherapist Yildiz Sethi, EMI works by accessing the root cause of emotional issues at their source, not just the symptoms, and guiding the mind through a natural process of resolution.


Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMI doesn’t require long term sessions or retelling traumatic stories. Instead, it uses a structured, respectful approach that combines modern neuroscience with a deep understanding of how the mind stores unresolved experiences.

In an EMI session, I gently guide you through a safe, structured process that:

  • Connects with the subconscious mind, where unresolved emotional imprints are stored
     
  • Uncovers the root cause behind current symptoms or patterns
     
  • Guides the mind to resolve, release, and re-integrate the experience in a healthy way


  • EMI helps the brain release old neural pathways and form new ones, gently rewiring the mind in a safe and supportive way. Emotions are freed, thought patterns shift, healing trauma can be achieved.
     

The process is respectful, non-invasive, and does not require you to re-tell or relive traumatic memories in detail. In a light trance state, you remain conscious and in control at all times, supported by clear steps and compassionate guidance.
